QB/T 1951.1: Wooden furniture – quality verify and assess

QB/T 1951.1 standard includes terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test and analysis methods, general rules and signs, operating instructions, packaging, storage conditions related to wooden furniture.

Wooden furniture intended to be sold in the Chinese market This standard is valid for quality analysis and evaluation. The tests performed on wooden furniture within the scope of the QB/T 1951.1 standard are as follows:

• Dimension determination
• Moisture content of wood
• Woodworking and painting requirement
• Chemical tests
• Mechanical tests

CCC certification is required for wooden furniture to be exported to or sold in China. In order to obtain this certificate, production must be made in accordance with the standards and conditions determined by the authorized institutions and organizations.
