What are Textile Products? What are the Types?

Textile products are materials obtained by turning fibers into yarn, fabric or weaving. These products have a wide range of uses in daily life, from clothes to home textiles to industrial materials. Textile products are classified according to whether the fibers are natural or synthetic, intended use and production method.

Main Types of Textile Products:

  • Textile Products Made from Natural Fibers: It is obtained from vegetable or animal fibers such as cotton, wool, linen, silk, etc.
  • Textile Products Made from Synthetic Fibers: Made from fibers produced from petrochemical sources such as polyester, nylon, acrylic.
  • Mixed Fiber Textiles: Textiles made from a combination of natural and synthetic fibers (e.g. cotton-polyester blends).
  • Home Textile Products: Home textile products such as curtains, carpets, bed linen, towels, etc.
  • Technical Textiles: These are technical fabrics (e.g. protective clothing, medical textiles) produced for special purposes such as automotive, medical and construction.

Why Determination of Textile Products?

Textile product characterization is performed to determine the quality control, chemical content and physical durability of textile materials. These tests are important to ensure the lifetime, customer satisfaction and environmental compliance of textiles. In particular, the determination determines whether textile products contain harmful chemicals or comply with established standards.

What are the Tests and Analyses Performed by Nanolab on Textile Products?

Nanolab continues to serve with its authorized personnel who are experts in many tests and analyzes in textile products within the scope of Consumer Analysis.
