Coenzyme Q10 (Co-Enzyme Q10, CoQ10) is an organic, natural, vitamin-like substance. It is also called ubiquinone. Coenzyme Q10, a fat-soluble benzoquinone group antioxidant, is produced in all cells and one of its functions is to assist in the intercellular electron transport chain. Coenzyme Q10, which has been frequently wondered about in the relationship between foods and health in recent years, is a vitamin-like compound that can be synthesized in humans and all animals and plays a critical role in energy production in the cell.
In order for the Coenzyme Q10 compound taken with food to show its physiological effect in humans, serious absorption must occur. Since it is a fat-soluble compound, it is better absorbed with fat.
What are the Benefits of Coenzyme Q10?
• The most basic function of Coenzyme Q10 is that it has antioxidant activity. It also increases the effects of other vitamins with antioxidant activity.
• Coenzyme Q10 prevents cell death (apoptosis).
• Coenzyme Q10 prevents the formation of diseases such as heart failure, hypertension, heart diseases, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and diabetes and supports their treatment.
• Provides supportive treatment to children with autism.
• Slows down the symptoms of aging.

- The highest concentration is in heart tissue, and in kidney and liver tissues.
Exogenous coenzyme Q10 sources are sources that allow it to be taken from outside:
- Foods such as beef and chicken meat, trout, broccoli, soybeans.
