Formaldehyde is a reactive chemical used in many products and is harmful to human health. It is especially used in disinfectant products due to its lethal effect on insects and most microorganisms.
Formaldehyde is used in many areas other than disinfectants, but it has significant hazards for human health. People exposed to high doses of formaldehyde are more likely to get cancer.
