Purpose of GB/T 21980 Standard

The GB/T 21980 standard covers the specifications, test and analysis methods, inspection classification rules and technical specifications such as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of professional sportswear and protective clothing.

The tests under this standard apply to professional sportswear and protective clothing made of textile woven fabrics as the main raw material.

Scope of GB / T 21980 Standard

GB/T 21980 covers the following product groups:

Sportswear

Clothing designed for sports such as running, cycling, swimming, yoga.
Properties such as air permeability, flexibility, drying after perspiration are evaluated.

Protective Clothing

Protective equipment used in areas such as occupational safety, outdoor sports, mountaineering or motor sports.
Properties such as water resistance, tear resistance and insulation are tested.
