Requirements for Sewn Plush and Fabric Toys under the Chinese Standard

Scope of GB / T 9832 Standard

4. Fire Safety: Fabric and plush toys must be resistant to fire in the environment in which they are used. In particular, toys to be used in children's rooms or beds are prohibited to be made of flammable materials. GB/T 9832 requires the use of fire resistant materials for such toys.
5. Age Group Appropriateness: The design of plush and fabric toys should be appropriate for different age groups. This is important to ensure that toys do not contain small parts or injure children. GB/T 9832 also includes criteria for suitability for age groups.
