GOTS Certificate

What is GOTS Certification?

GOTS Certificate

Organic clothing brands prefer certainty over uncertainty and use a lot of organic cotton that is GOTS certified to ban all toxic chemicals. In addition, the use of genetically modified seeds is not allowed with this certificate.

Are you looking for GOTS certification on your garments? It is available in two variants

  • GOTS label derived from more than 95% organic textile fibers
  • GOTS (%x) label with minimum 70% organic textile fibers
In practice this means that the label always indicates that the products consist of a minimum of 70% organic textile fibers. If this ratio is between 70% and 95%, this should be stated on the label. When no percentage is specified on the label, the product has more than 95% organic textile fibers.
