Candida albicans is a type of fungus that occurs naturally in the human body. It is usually found on the skin, in the mouth, intestines and vagina. The presence of Candida albicans in cosmetic products indicates that the product carries microbial contamination and poses a risk to user health.
Within the scope of microbiological tests, many different microorganisms are searched for. One of the most important of these is “Candida albicans”.
