QB/T 1002: Leather shoes

The QB/T 1002 standard covers the classification, requirements, test methods, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of leather shoes produced by various processes. This standard is required for leather shoes, including generally worn boots, the upper part of which is made of natural leather, artificial materials or other materials.

The products to be analyzed within the scope of the standard are as follows according to the users:
a) Men's leather shoes
b) Women's leather shoes

Shoes are divided into three categories according to their upper materials:
a) The upper part is made of natural leather (grain leather, pig, cattle, goat, etc. artificial leather) Leather shoes made of leather
b) Leather shoes with upper part made of artificial materials
c) Leather upper part made of two or more materials

Requirements that leather shoes must meet in order to comply with the standard:
• Shoe sizes should comply with GB/T 3293.1 standard
• Shoe material should be selected in accordance with product standards
• Appearance quality should be evaluated according to the tables within the scope of the standard
• Peel strength of the upper sole should be tested
• Outsole and midsole adhesion strength tested
• Upper strap pull-out strength tested
• Flex resistance tested
• Outsole abrasion resistance tested
• Upper part Abrasion resistance must be tested
• Heel joint strength must be tested
• Heel hardness of molded sole must be tested
• Color fastness of lining and inner socks to abrasion must be tested
• Steel shaft attached to sole is tested
• Flex index of the insole chipboard should be tested
• Low temperature flexing resistance of the upper material should be tested
• Azo dyes; lining and upper should be tested separately on leather and textile parts
• Formaldehyde; lining and upper should be tested separately on leather and textile parts
