QB/T 2777: Marking Pens

The QB/T 2777 standard includes the classification, properties, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of marking pens. This standard applies to paper, wood, metal, glass, plastic, enamel, ceramics, etc.

Marking pens can be divided into two categories:
- Water-based marker pens (including colored fountain pens) are those that use water-based inks.
- Those that use oil-based ink are oil-based marker pens.

Marker pens can be divided into water storage core marker pens and direct liquid marker pens according to their water storage structure.

The performance of marking pens must meet the standard requirements by passing the tests specified below.
