Sampling is an important process, especially for surfaces. Sampling conditions are a process that affects the analysis result. Especially the samples taken for microbiological analysis should be protected without contamination until the test process.
Sampling for microbiology analysis is common with a swap/contact plate. Samples taken with swap/contact plate should be transported in the cold chain at +4 C and delivered to the laboratory within 24 hours at the latest.
It is used with swap/contact plate for microorganisms such as E.coli, Coliform, S.aureus, Total Live, Mold-Yeast. Errors in sampling for microbiological analyzes cause deviations in analysis results. For this reason, the personnel who will take samples should be knowledgeable and experienced in sampling.
