What Are Sea Water Tests?

Sea Water Tests

It covers more than 70 percent of the earth's surface. It is a complex mixture of seawater, 96.5 percent water, 2.5 percent salt, and smaller amounts of other substances, including dissolved inorganic and organic materials, particles, and several atmospheric gases.

Seawater constitutes a rich source of various commercially important chemical elements. Most of the world's magnesium is recovered from seawater like large amounts of bromine. In certain parts of the world, sodium chloride (table salt) is still produced by evaporating sea water. Additionally, water from the sea when desalinated can provide an unlimited source of drinking water. Many large desalination plants have been built in dryland and elsewhere along the sea coasts in the Middle East to address freshwater scarcity. Sea Water Analysis
