Our Environmental Measurement and Analysis Scope Has Expanded
Nanolab Environmental Laboratory Scope Expanded.
As Nanolab Environmental Laboratory, we continue to expand the services we provide in the field of environmental protection and sustainability. As a laboratory authorized by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, we have expanded our scope in line with our testing authorizations. With this innovation, we will fulfill our responsibility in the sector more effectively by offering a wider range of environmental services.
In line with our expanded testing authorizations, we now offer comprehensive analysis and measurement services in the following areas:
- Emission - Immission Measurements: Emission measurements are tests conducted to determine the quantity of harmful gases and particles released into the air from sources such as factories, industrial facilities, and energy production plants. These measurements are crucial for controlling air pollution and protecting environmental health. Immission measurements, on the other hand, involve measuring air pollutants in specific areas to determine air quality in the atmosphere.
- Water Analysis: These tests are conducted to determine the quality of water sources. These analyses are aimed at detecting microorganisms, chemicals, heavy metals, and other harmful components in water. Regular analyses are conducted to ensure the safety and health of different water sources, such as drinking water, water used in agriculture, and industrial water.
- Wastewater Analysis: These tests are conducted to identify harmful substances in wastewater generated from domestic or industrial use. These analyses measure parameters such as chemicals, biological oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and nutrients (e.g., nitrogen and phosphorus) present in the water.
- Seawater Analysis: Measurements conducted to examine the physical, chemical, and biological properties of seawater. These analyses determine the contaminants, salinity, pH level, oxygen levels, and other important parameters in seawater. Seawater directly affects many sectors such as fishing, tourism, and ecosystem health.
- Waste Analysis: These tests are performed to determine the contents of different types of waste, such as industrial, domestic, and medical waste. These analyses detect hazardous substances, toxic chemicals, and components that may harm the environment in waste. These analyses are of great importance for the proper management of waste, the effectiveness of recycling processes, and the minimization of harmful effects on the environment.
- Sludge Analysis: Tests conducted to examine the content of sludge produced by water treatment systems. These analyses identify organic substances, metal contamination, and toxic components in sludge. Sludge is a byproduct of water treatment processes and must be properly processed and disposed of.
- Noise Measurements: These tests are conducted to determine environmental noise levels. These measurements are performed to understand the extent of noise pollution, particularly in industrial areas, along roadsides, at airports, and in densely populated areas. Long-term exposure to high noise levels can have adverse effects on human health, leading to sleep disorders, stress, and hearing loss.
- Sampling Procedures: This is the process of collecting samples using the correct techniques to ensure that environmental analyses are carried out accurately. This may involve collecting water, air, soil, waste, or air samples. Sampling is a process that must be carried out with great care to ensure that analyses are reliable and representative. Correct sampling methods are essential to ensure that results are accurate and reliable and should therefore be carried out by experts.
With these new authorities, we aim to expand the scope of our environmental analysis services, which were previously limited to specific areas, and serve more sectors in the field of environmental protection. We continue to contribute to environmental safety through these analyses, which we carry out in accordance with the high standards set by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
